Launch Your Healing With Intensive EMDR Therapy Sessions
You've been doing weekly sessions and it's fine. But sometimes you feel like you're hanging in the balance until the next session to finish the conversation. And by the time next week’s session rolls around, you've forgotten all about the initial incident and you're dealing with a new one.
You can't help but think that if we had just a little bit more time, we might be able to get further.
You may be right.
While the traditional weekly therapy session is great and most things can be worked through before the end of the 55-minute session, EMDR is a tad different. Nothing feels worse to me, as your therapist, than to stop you in the middle of amazing breakthroughs simply because we ran out of time. It's hard to get back to where you were the following week, possibly just to have it happen all over again.
It's frustrating!
You signed up for therapy to feel better. You take the time out of your busy schedule to attend these sessions and allow yourself to talk about this stuff. You are open to addressing the painful thoughts, feelings and emotions from the past and understand how that impacts you and your relationships now.
So why doesn’t it feel like you’re accomplishing anything?
You can’t help but wonder if this is just a big waste of time, energy and money. You just want to feel better!
Introducing… Intensive EMDR Therapy Sessions
Whether you're seeking relief from past traumas, anxiety, or day-to-day challenges, Intensive EMDR Therapy sessions provide the space for deep healing and growth. An Intensive EMDR Therapy session is a 3-hour extended session designed to replace - or add to - your regular weekly therapy session.
It’s becoming more clear that your past is impacting your present. As trauma does, it rears its ugly little head at the worst times. And you’re struggling more because of it.
But you don’t have to.
By scheduling an Intensive EMDR therapy session, you’re able to work through more of the yucky stuff, faster, so you can get back to living your life without all of the interruptions. The beauty of Intensive EMDR Therapy sessions is the amount of time we get to spend together making sure you’re grounded, feeling strong and capable. You’ll return to your daily life well equipped with several ways to manage your thoughts and feelings. You’ve got enough to worry about without adding that to the mix.
You want to feel like you have control of your life and emotions again. You want to feel calm, happy and be able to enjoy the people and things around you. You want to be able to say “yes!” to things without worrying if you’re going to be triggered by something someone says or does. You want to feel like you are doing the best that you can at any given moment. You want to feel like you have direction for your life. You want to get back to feeling confident about yourself and your choices.
You can achieve all of this and more with an Intensive EMDR Therapy session.
Benefits of Intensive EMDR Therapy Sessions
Go deeper, faster. Get to the bottom of things more quickly so you can return to your everyday life.
Less interruptions. With extended session times, you won’t feel rushed or like you’re just getting to the heart of things when the session time is up.
Save time. Sure, a 3 hour chunk is just that, a chunk of time. But it’s also maximized time.
Save money. If you’re maximizing your time, that means you’re reducing the amount of sessions you attend, therefore spending less money.
Less stress and overwhelm outside of sessions. Nothing is worse than when you’re stopped in the middle of a breakthrough because your session is over and then you go home and find yourself irritable, a little tearful and anxious.
Treat yourself well. One of the main goals of my work with clients is to teach them to prioritize their needs. Caregivers, especially, do a wonderful job of caring for others, but often neglect themselves. I wouldn’t be the fabulous therapist that I am if I didn’t offer a little perk for this amazing work that you just did. Check out the Self-Care Add-On menu that only my Intensive EMDR Therapy clients have access to.

Money is an important factor these days, I get it. Instead of putting therapy on hold, you can still invest in your wellbeing, just in fewer sessions.
Intensive EMDR Therapy sessions are 3 hours long and while that sounds like a lot of time, that time is spent getting to the heart of the matter, faster.
You would probably need to attend weekly 55-minute therapy sessions for 4-6 weeks to make the same amount of progress that can be made with 3 hours of dedicated time.
Payment plans are available.

Please complete the following EMDR Interest Form. If you do not receive a response from me within 72 hours, please email me here.

Yes. The workbook is especially for new clients and helps me get to know you and the things you’re bringing to the session.
You can begin your transformation before the Intensive EMDR Therapy session even begins with this workbook.
Filled with assessments for you to complete along with questions to prompt you to start thinking about the things that are causing you distress. These could be memories from the past, thoughts about yourself and emotions that keep coming up.

After the Intensive EMDR Therapy session, we will meet again to recap the Intensive session and check in to see how you're doing. We will continue to address the identified triggers as time allows in this following session. We’ll also look at how we want to structure future sessions. This may include scheduling additional Intensive EMDR Therapy sessions, a multi-day Intensive EMDR Therapy session or returning to weekly therapy sessions.
