Even Wonder Woman Needs a Day Off

You’re knee deep in the throes of motherhood and this shit ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Some days you want to run out of the house screaming. (Nevermind you’re still in your pajamas because the crazy started that early.)
You find yourself thinking, even saying out loud, "you're on my last nerve." That’s not your usual temperament. You hear yourself yelling and snapping at your kids and wonder "who have I become".
Any activity outside of the usual 9-5 seems exhausting to even think about.
You’re just exhausted in general.
You find solace (hell, maybe even hope) in a pint of Ben & Jerry’s and mindless reality TV in the evening. You’re too exhausted for intimacy with your partner.
Yep, just one more way in which you feel like you're failing at life.
You haven't spent time with your girlfriends in months despite the obligatory "We should get together soon" texts that are exchanged every couple of weeks.
You feel like a complete. And. Utter. Failure.
Mama, I hear you loud and clear. Take comfort that I'm here to help.
You always wanted to be "Super" Mom.
Active in your child's life.
Growing up, you dreamed of having it all.
You wanted to be the Mom who made dinner every night. Baked cookies. Volunteered at school. Went to all the activities. Perfect family pictures for the yearly Christmas card.
All with a smile on your face.
It was the perfect life.
But reality appears to be quite different.
And you're not so sure you're a fan.
You feel like you’re doing the exact opposite of all of the dreams you had in your head. You start playing the dangerous game of “What good mom"...fill in the blank.
“What good Mom won’t let their kid help with making dinner?”
“What good mom…” Before you know it, you're slipping down a dangerous rabbit hole.
Then there's social media and everyone's picture perfect lives. IG, SnapChat, Facebook... Everywhere you go there are smiling faces - more and more comparisons.
More reminders about how you feel you’re not measuring up.
Gah! It's more than any Mom can take!
No more! You don't want to feel this way anymore. You're ready to break free from #ToxicMomCulture and I'm here to help.
It’s Time to Take Care of You

Imagine for a moment, a life in which you’re feeling confident as a person, but especially as a parent. You’re feeling more balanced in your life for the first time in...well, let's just say it's been a loooong time.
Imagine having the time and space to focus yourself without feeling guilty about it.
Imagine not criticizing yourself for not being there helping with homework or for ordering pizza instead of cooking.
Imagine recognizing that taking time for yourself also gives you the time and space to care for who's most important to you- those you love.
When I work with busy moms, we identify the stressors that you're dealing with. We identify where you can set boundaries and how to communicate these to those around you. We get back to what makes you who you are as a person. What are your desires, dreams and hobbies? We work out a plan for you to take time to dip your toes back into these interests again and challenge the thought process that's keeping you stuck.
