Paying attention to something, in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally.

What is Mindfulness Used For?
Mindfulness can be used to successfully address many mental health symptoms experienced by those who deal with depression, anxiety, stress, anger, sleep issues and many more.
People who use Mindfulness regularly report increased well-being and decreased psychological distress.
In our work together, Mindfulness is used as a self-care skill as well as using it to manage thoughts that you don't need or want at that particular moment.
Our environment is filled with things that pull us in a million directions.
We are addicted to instant gratification.
(No judgement from me, I suffer from it too.)
Snapchat. Facebook. Instagram. Twitter.
All of these things pull our attention away from things that may need, frankly deserve, our attention more: family, friends, work, hobbies and even ourselves.
By utilizing Mindfulness skills, my clients learn to calm their minds and focus on the present moment.
Here. Now.
Practicing Mindfulness breathing and guided meditations can help you get back to enjoying your life.
