I appreciate that therapy is a commitment in time, emotional and physical energy. It is also a commitment of financial resources.
Most importantly, therapy is a commitment to yourself. A commitment to do things differently. A commitment to work through the shit we bring with us from the past.
Out of Pocket Investment
In order to keep my caseload small, I do not accept insurance.
Individual session: $170 per 45-55 minute session (in person and online).
$75 for additional 30 minutes (in person and online). This must be pre-scheduled.
Payment is due at the time of service regardless of whether you are using out of network benefits. If applicable, these benefits could be partially reimbursed to you by your insurance company (see below for further details).
Your sessions are your time and can be structured however you want. If you need to leave a little early, no problem. Need a second session that week? That’s okay, too. Please be assured that I reserve this space in my schedule just for you. If you do not use all of the time allotted to you, however, your charge will still be the same.
Out of Network
Some insurance plans offer out of network benefits. It is your responsibility to check these benefits with your insurance company. If your plan offers out of network benefits, you may be eligible to receive partial reimbursement for your sessions from your insurance company. You will still be responsible for paying my fee at the time of service.
Good Faith Estimate
As of January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to provide estimates for the costs of your care. The Good Faith Estimate shows the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected for your healthcare needs and treatment. This Good Faith Estimate does not include unexpected costs that could arise during treatment.
This office will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate at the beginning of services, or upon request. Please speak to your therapist if you have questions or concerns.
